Published June 17, 2010 | TFSL-B is happy to announce our Pyro network, A facebook/twitter all in one. There some features facebook should adob from twitter and same with twitter off facebook, and this is why TFSL-B (Thats us) brought this idea to life,
Our blog is more then just showing interesting posts, we wanted to give you the community a more in debth role in the pyro world more then what facebook and twitter can offer.
We have the some features the same as facebook and twiter but we wanted to add all these together, the ability to follow instead of request friendship and the ability to like a post like facebook.
This is a long term ongoing project and will update when feedback is provided and better things should/will be added.

Fiestas del Pilar

Brilliant images from the Fiestas del Pilar in the Spanish town of Zaragoza. This festival attracts about 1.5 million people from around the world every year on the 12th of October. Originally a religious festival based on a belief that Virgin Mary appeared to Saint James standing on a pillar. Like all good traditions it has evolved into a large drinking competition and everyone has a great time partying on the streets and enjoying the many sights and sounds of the celebration.
The party lasts for about 9 days normally and no one is left out of the entertainment, the many bars and restaurants around the town are full of revellers and the surrounding neighbourhoods contribute with their own fireworks displays. Throughout the celebrations there is music, dancing and drinking in good measures. If you are stuck for where to party this October get yourself to Zaragoza.

Fire and dancing at the same time, it looks great but do not try it after a few beers, you could end up with singed bits.
This is a nice photograph and the long exposure has made interesting swirls of the fire. The chap sitting relaxed in the background helps us to feel that we are a part of the audience enjoying the show. Despite the action and the fire, it is a relaxing photograph and features everyones favourite medium, fire!
