Junior Apprentice is proving as addictive as the adults version and in some cases even more so. This week’s episode involved designing a product for campers and pitch it to three retailers. Whoever gets the most orders wins. The winning team Instinct’s idea came from Tim, and was a sled with detachable wheels, intended to make carrying luggage easier for festival goers. The prize was a private roof top buy fireworks display in Kew gardens. In our opinion the design for the winning product should have been more along the lines of the Sh**T box featured above. fireworks for sale

“FREE pack of Sky Lanterns! With every new mortgage or ISA” You can see the headline now. I know the adverts been out for some time but as far as adverts go it’s a good advert. Visually it’s really well done and when my mortgage comes up for renewal or whatever financial product they are supposed to be selling I’ll think of that Chinese Bank.
As you would expect the prime time adverts have heightened the public’s awareness of Sky Lanterns and local papers debate over UFO’s sightings has come back down to Earth. Most people seem to love them and think they are a great idea. However, farmers and coast guards don’t. The farmers say they are the equivalent of fly-tipping the country side and kill cows while the coast guard can confuse them with distress signals.
What are your thoughts and what would you suggest? We would love to hear from you.
We reckon… make edible lanterns that burn any other colour than white or red
