June looks to be an exciting month around all of our TNT Supercenters. Our friends at the Jennings, FL TNT Supercenter are all looking forward to the Hamilton County Blueberry Festival at City Park.

This event takes place June 12th. Our friends at the Easton, PA store tell us that the 2010 Lehigh Laxfest promises to be a huge event. Last year, 240 teams participated in this Lacrosse Tournament at Goodman Stadium in Bethlehem, PA.

This year promises to be just as big. The 2010 Lehigh Laxfest is scheduled for June 19th, 20th, 26th, and 27th. Finally, everyone at the Caryville, TN TNT Supercenter is eagerly awaiting the Louie Bluie Music and Arts Festival – June 12th.

This festival has many highlights, like the Arts & Crafts Village where artisans sell and exhibit their artwork. The festival also provides an excellent opportunity to hear some great live music. This year, Ralphe Armstrong, Rich DelGrosso, and many other wonderful performers will provide the soundtrack to the festival. We hope to see you at these exciting events, and to see you soon at your nearest TNT Fireworks Supercenter.

Lydney Fire Festival Art

lydney cannon festival

A fantastic sculpture made from the Lydney Festival with the intent to burn it at the end. Seems such a shame for something so beautiful and well made. However a Fire Festival is not a festival without a fire.

This incredible looking construction was designed by a local teenager who was no doubt delighted to see it up in flames.

The 2 bikes leaning on it kind of ruins the magic slightly, but still a great pic.

2010 Bury St Edmunds Festival Will Start With A Bang

EpicFireworks.com - Greens and Yellows

The 2010 Bury St Edmunds Festival will start with a bang as fireworks will mark tonight’s opening of the 17-day spectacular.
The Abbey Gardens gig that follows will allow audiences to relive the best of the 70s and 80s as Madness and Queen tribute bands take to the stage.

And excitement is building for the opening weekend, which will see the first Real Food and Beer Festival showcasing our region’s finest produce, as well as street theatre, romantic sonnet walks, the n Grimethorpe Colliery Band, a world premiere by St Edmundsbury Cathedral Choir, comedy, film, kites and more.

There are venues and performances to suit everyone’s tastes and with a fresh new look, this year’s 25th Festival is attracting some of the best ticket sales in a decade, with some events already sold out and others coming close.

Festival manager Nick Wells said: “The Festival is a wonderful opportunity to get out and see some superb live performances close to home at reasonable prices.

“We have included lots of new things as well as old favourites to attract an even wider audience. Tickets are selling fast, so book soon to avoid disappointment.”

One unusual act to look out for is Eclectica, a group that has redefined the conventional string quartet by replacing the second violin and the viola with two guitars.

Pete Oxley, one of the band’s guitarists, inherited his musical talent from his late father, Harrison ‘Fred’ Oxley who, as an organist and composer, dedicated his life to music at St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

Led by Pete, the talented and well accomplished string group will deliver an afternoon performance at the Corn Exchange on May 20.
