Pattaya International Fireworks 2010

Some incredible fireworks from Pattaya’s International Fireworks Festival 2010.
The festival was a big success and thousands attended, crowding into Pattaya’s Beach Road to watch the spectacle.
The festival was in honour of the Thai royal family and in particular Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s recent celebration of her 78th Birthday.
Over 50,000 fireworks were launched into the sky above the bay by several different countries. using floating platforms on the water for the first time in Thailand. The whole event was the kingdoms larget ever fireworks display and impressed thousands of locals and tourists alike.

The wooden steaks in shot are what the boat taxis use as buffers when coming to pick up. The Church of Maria Della Salute provides the silhouette. This was almost definitely NOT the best vantage point in town, there were a million other better ones…(but I was too disorganized to be close to them when the show kicked off!). Redentore Festival is renowned for fireworks, the whole show lasted around half an hour, I just caught the tail end, awesome nonetheless…!

On the 24th and 25th of july 2010, Tomorrowland was held at The Schorre in Boom. Here is some live footage of the endshow, featuring David Guetta and some crazy fireworks. Filmed with a Canon 5DmkII 1080/24p. The clip is straight from the camera, no editing or colorgrading. A bit shaky, but was handheld without a rig and I was trying to see the show too
