St Patrick’s Festival 2008

Kimbolton Fireworks were please to once again fire the display for the 2008 Skyfest, St Patricks Festival.
With a move from last years central Dublin site, this years display created a truly spectacular event on the site of the iconic Rock of Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
This spectacular pyrotechnic, lighting, and musical gathering was designed to celebrate the spirit of The St. Patricks Festival and the work of The National Lottery, at the majestic backdrop of the Rock of Cashel.
With an estimated 5.5 tonnes of pyrotechnics and over 40,000 explosions, the display provided an electrifying and memorable part of the festivities.

Published August 3, 2007 | Tickets are now on sale for one of the fireworks highlights of the year, the display marking the end of the Edinburgh International Festival.
The display and concert – featuring music by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra – takes place in Princes Street Gardens on September 2.
More than 1,000,000 fireworks will be set off in the space of just 45 minutes during the annual event, sponsored by Bank of Scotland.
This year the display – claimed to be the biggest annual event of its kind in Europe – has been created by international fireworks artists Wilf Scott and Keith Webb from Pyrovision, and includes effects ‘never before seen in the UK’.
